Camera PGS uses AI edge-processing cameras to detect both vehicle presence at the bay level and read number plates in the same frame. It works indoors or outdoors, replaces dedicated sensors and counters with a single device per coverage area, and feeds the same display boards and management software as the rest of the PGS family. Entry/exit counting is a sub-set of this product — the camera that watches the gate is already counting in/out, so a separate counter unit is not required.

Technical architecture
The camera runs occupancy detection and plate recognition on-device using a tuned ML pipeline. Each frame produces both an occupancy flag per bay (or per zone, depending on mount) and any plates visible in the frame, with confidence scores. The controller updates display boards and pushes plates to the PMS or barrier controller as needed. Because inference runs locally, the system stays responsive when the internet drops — and there's no per-scan cloud cost.
