During Diwali week, Grand Avenue Mall was seeing 30+ vehicles backed up on the access road before 11am. Not because the parking was full — it was 65% empty — but because the entry barrier and ticket dispenser couldn't keep pace with arrivals.
We replaced the existing barriers with high-speed (0.9s) BLDC units, added a second entry lane with anti-tailgating loop logic, and put an entry/exit counter on the rooftop level — until then it was relying on a security guard with a clipboard.
Queue spillover at the access road dropped from a peak of 28 vehicles to zero. The mall now publishes "spaces available by level" on the entry signage, which lets drivers self-route to the nearest open zone without needing to crawl up four levels of ramp.
